Directions to Miramar Resorts of Encanto and Luna Blanca

Before you reach the Town of Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) you will come to an intersection with directional signs to Caborca and The Mayan Palace. This is the direction you will want to take.

Encanto Rocky Point

Take the turn off to the right and keep left as it loops back to the highway where you will cross over while watching the signs to CABORCA and the MAYAN.

Miramar Beach Luna Blanca

Continue about 5 minutes and you will cross the railroad tracks, about another 10 minutes past the MAYAN PALACE sign at the 1.6 kilometer you will see the entry just ahead to Miramar Resorts. Pull in between the two pillars that is the entrance to Miramar Resorts.

Encanto Rocky Point

Watch for and follow the signs to the Luna Blanca and Encanto Resorts which you can see off in the distance to the right.

Miramar Beach Luna Blanca

You will see 2 towers off to the left in the distance. Just follow the road back and eventually it will curve to the left to the Resorts. You will check in at the Luna Blanca tower on the Right. Pull up to the entrance of the building and inside on the left you will find the counter. If no one is there ask the guard at the gate and they will call someone in.

Directions to Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco)

Just 60 miles south of the Lukeville, Arizona / Sonoyta, Mexico border crossing, Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) is great for the quick weekend getaway! Rocky Point is located on the North West coast of the Sea of Cortez in Northern Sonora, Mexico.

From Phoenix:

1.Take the I-10 West to the end of town (Buckeye Area)
2.Take Hwy.85 South to Gila Bend (same exit as I-8 to San Diego)
3.At the end of Gila Bend you will see a McDonald's, right before the Mc Donald's turn right on to the continuation of Hwy.85 South.
4.Follow Hwy.85 straight into Mexico.
5.In Sonoyta, just follow the signs overhead that point to Pto. Peñasco (that is Puerto Peñasco abbreviated).
6.You now have about 60 more miles until you get there

From Phoenix South East Valley:

1.Take I-10 East to Maricopa Rd. If you miss it Queen Creek Rd Hwy.347 will do (they end up the same road.) Head South on Maricopa (347).
2.Travel about 10 Miles & look for Hwy. 238 West. (Mile Post 175).
3.Travel West on Hwy. 238 for about an hour until you get to Hwy. 85 outside of Gila Bend. Turn left heading West into Gila Bend.
4.At the end of Gila Bend you will see a Mc Donald's, right before the Mc Donald's turn right on to the continuation of Hwy.85 South.
5.Follow Hwy.85 straight through into Mexico.
6.In the town of Sonoyta, just follow the signs overhead that point to Pto. Peñasco (that is Puerto Peñasco abbreviated).
7.You now have about 60 more miles until you get there.

From Tucson:

1.Take the I-10 to I-19 South. You will only be on I-19 for about a mile, then exit onto Ajo highway (also known as Hwy.86).
2.Take Hwy.86 West for about 2 & 1/2 hours until you get to a town called Why.
3.At Why take a left, heading South on Hwy.85 to the border town of Lukeville.
4.Follow Hwy.85 straight through into Mexico.
5.Drive through the town of Sonoyta following the signs overhead that point to Pto. Peñasco.
6.You now have about 60 more miles until you get there.

From Tucson NORTH:

1.Take the I-10 West to I-8 (a little before Casa Grand.)
2.Take I-8 West to Gila Bend, take the 2nd exit and turn Left on Hwy. 85 South. (or right for Gila Bend)
3.Follow Hwy.85 straight through into Mexico.
4.Drive through the town of Sonoyta following the signs overhead that point to Pto. Peñasco.
5.You now have about 60 more miles until you get there.
The 60 mile drive along Mexico's Route 8 to Rocky Point is in good condition, although you should always be extremely careful when driving in Mexico. Mexico Driving Tips

From Yuma:

Cross the boder into San Luis and follow the sings to Puerto Penasco and the NEW international Highway. Before you reach El Golfo you will see the turn off to the left to Puerto Penasco.
